On Wednesday 19th July PMC invited some of Australia’s top sound engineers to Forbes Street Studios in Sydney to have a listen to the company’s newest monitors.  Invited guests were treated to a demonstration of the new PMC MB3 XBD-A monitors, monitors which won a prestigious ‘Best of Show’ award at NAMM earlier in the year.

Chris Allen, product specialist for PMC gave an in-depth demo to the likes of engineers from ABC, Sony, the Sydney Opera House and staffers from the historic 301 Studios.

“It was an absolute pleasure to meet engineers from both private and leading facilities in Sydney,” he says. “There is such a keen and thriving scene in this region and we were delighted to have the opportunity to demonstrate the MB3S XBD-A monitors and explain the genuinely unique technologies that enable PMC speakers to achieve the clarity, transparency, unparalleled bass and sheer power for which they are renowned. It was also a great opportunity for attendees to see Universal Australia’s new cutting-edge studio. I relished hearing about the active Australian music and production market and am looking forward to working with our partner, Interdyn, to develop PMC’s presence in the region. A massive thanks to Anthony Garvin and Michael Taylor from Forbes Street Studios for having us and arranging such an enjoyable evening.”

The event also gave PMC a chance to show off some of the smaller loudspeakers in their range, including the TwoTwo nearfield speakers, which Forbes Street Studios have installed throughout their facilities.
